I went self employed just before the recession hit... Doh!
Can't really complain, though, at least I've been working all year, although in ad hoc positions, instead of nice contracts, with good day rates.
At the end of the day, my family is strong, my health is good, there's cash in the bank...
    I can't complain.

Hopefully next year will be much better....

Good luck to you all for 2010.

It rained all morning, and then it cleared up in the afternoon.
  • Downer: Got made redundant.

    Upper: Got made redundant :D

Stepped back on my road bike for the first time in 5 years. It's mildly amusing.

  • Started good in January.
February: the Subaru's brakes went, decided to get rid of the money pit and buy Ford.
    March: was financial disaster.
    April: Not bad.
    May: huge family row.
June: Not bad, hoped for better.
July: Finances gone outta the window.
August: 2 weeks in a very very rain soaked Scotland on holiday
    September: Mother's health deteriorated.
    October: Money woes again.
November: Mother's health worrying. Stress fracture of upper arm.
December: Loads of worrying about money, mother's health and the future.

Sh*te 2009, thanks God it's going. Will join the Foreign legion in 2010 or finally buy my cyclocross bike if possible
