Best bike for an 11 yr old boy

My boy loves my roadbike and I think the time has come to bit the bullet and get hime one, The trouble is, I cant seem to find many to look at. I quite like this one http://www.islabikes.co.uk/bike_pages/luath26.html but would like a few more to compare it to. He is 11 but is quite short (about 145cm)

Any help appreciated

    Isla Bikes are superb. Difficult to get hold of, though, if you need it quick!

    You could also look at Giant SCR XXS frames which come up similar to the Islas with 650 wheels.

    You'll be lucky to find an SCR, Giant doesn't seem to make the 650c version anymore.

    Have you tried him on a very small 700c bike, my son is a similar height and he seems OK on his.

    I always think the wheels look disproportionately large on those, it just doesn't look right.

    I'd not hesitate buying the Islabike, there are two (or is it three now?) at my local circuit which the kids love riding. A secondhand Luath 26 sold for well over £250 on fleabay recently so you may get a significant amount back when you sell it.

    got a 15 year old halfords anc racer if thats any good, never used much! if your near newcastle you can have it for £20!

    hi..
    SCR XXS frames very good for your child,actually my friend's child also have SCR XXS frames really its very nice so, i advice you to take this & don't very it look like lslas with 650 wheels.
