    Planet X Pro Carbon
  • what do you ride now?
    what are your cycling goals?
    how fit are you?
    what do you weigh?
do you want to buy a bike with a frame geometry that fits your body shape?

    etc etc etc

if your only criteria is thats its a 'sportive' bike (whatever that is supposed to mean) and that its costs around £ 1000 - you're probably wasting your money.

Have you looked at the Sportive / Gran Fondo bikes on the Ribble website?

Carbon frame with geometry aimed at sportive riding rather than racing. I think you can build your own or buy off the peg starting at around £900.

I bought the sportive frame in September and have been really pleased with it.

The biggest question should be 'am I comfy on that bike?' if not walk away.

forgot to say, as above make sure it's a triple, as some sportives have some VERY big hills and 100 miles in a VERY big hill is even BIGGER
