    I think what you've done is come onto a forum and complain about a companies product (that you got for free) before you've actually given them the opportunity to deal with your complaint. What you don't realise is that people who do actually pay for this stuff will not chalk it up to experience, they will endeavour to get a result, so your 'forewarning' is a bit unecessary. Part of the price premium you pay for Rapha, Assos, etc. is for great customer service. If you've got a problem, they will usually sort it. Even if you damage it yourself they will normally repair it for you for free.
