It's that beautiful day of the month for me again, unfortunately most of this months cash will be going on buying gifts for those that claim to be my friends and family, for celebrating something that half of them don't believe in anyway. Bah humbug.

On the plus side I can order some Maxxis Swampthings and get back out on the wolf ridge without spending most of the time on my ars€!

    Payday for me too. :D

Looking at getting another bearing upgrade set for the NRS. Already done the Horst link, but I think a set will work on the upper link as well. Spoke to BETD and they hadn't used them there, but couldn't see any reason why they won't.

Also looking at the Lumicycle site. I've already got an LED3 spot lamp and need a flood one to match it. Can't decide whether to get the LED3 or the LED4, which is £90 more for an extra couple of hundred lumins. Think I'll probably go for the 3 and spend the difference on some biking clothes - But the 4 is soooo bright...

    Last week for me.

Fortunately (or not) Christmas is going to be a cheap one for me this year as I'm sadly single. So I'm only buying for parents, brother and sister, and we don't do massive presents, can do the lot for about £70!

Trying to save so I can move out though, so I'm putting a big chunk of my pay cheques aside at the moment.

The LED4 would have been £90 more just for the lamp. I couldn't justify that.
  • I need to try your lamps and feel the benefit. Why do you need to live so damn far away!

Indeed. Things are a bit frantic at home ATM, so I'm not travelling much. Depending on what happens, might try to get up to Llandegla in Jan/Feb time. Need to organise (and actually go to) a forum night ride...

  • I think I deserve to go snowboarding too, but I also deserve friends that want to go with me (I have the friends, but none of them are interested in the snowy holidays :( )

Pay day for me is the 26th, so last Thursday. The money will most likely be spent on friends and family, though I'm determined to keep it cheap this year as I hate the New Year debt i always seem to have.
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.
