It's fine apart from the bib shorts  I assume you mean bib shorts as an outer layer?

Why are MTB economics; spend twice as much as you intended, but only half as much as you wish you could afford?
  • Sorry but it's wrong  (If bibs used as outers) It's the cycling equivalent of sandals and socks - it might be effective but it looks soooo bad.

just put baggies on over the bibs. Hey presto, you're comfortable and you look dressed

Beer in moderation ... is a waste of beer

then riding a rigid singlespeed is like licking it
... or being punched by it, depending on the day

Well gay, as in Wayne Sleap type homo gay

I have a pair of 3/4 tights, but would never wear them without my baggies over the top.

  • bib shorts, yes. Lets be honest, the reason we all cycle is for the lycra. However, never with flat soled shoes...

    Don't do it.

If you're going to attempt to benefit from the small sporting advantages that lycra offers, at least have the good sense to benefit from the massive sporting advantages that clipping in offers first.

Mostly though, it's socks and sandals.
