forgive my ignorance?

can anyone tell me is it okay to use Shimano shifters and deralieurs with a SRAM casette and chain. many thanks for your help :?:

    yes it is fine. as long as they are all the same speed.

    It's mixing the shifters and mechs you (usually) can't do.
    It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    You would think it would all be simple and obvious like axle sizes and headset sizes and types :lol:
