Afternoon

I've just registered for next year's Etape. Exciting news but as most of my riding is done alone in and around the Surrey Hills, I think it's time to join a local club and find a coach to set a structured training plan.

So, can anyone offer any advice on:

1) a friendly, local club (I live In Woking, Surrey)
2) a coach who's experienced in Etape du Tour prep!

Thanks in advance

  • Ruth Eyles as coach recommendation - superb. Just google Ruth Eyles for website

I went from non cycling sofa hound to top of Ventoux last year, enjoying Tour Of Flanders, Dragon ride and few more sportives along the way with a plan suited to me, as i found it difficult to squeeze in 5hrs week training with work, wife etc
