Hello - Does anyone know where (if even possible) i can rent a Bob trailer in the South East (ish) of the UK (Reading) - planning on touring with one in NZ next year but would like to rent one for a long weekend touring in the UK to see what they're like to ride with.

Thanks

Jim

The Bob is at its best for offroad situations you can fit to 700c but not with mudguards for that you need the XL version
Burley is super smooth on road OK for light trails and the has the
    best hitch system its
idiot proof thats why CentreParcs use Burley Child Trailers .
Avoid copy cat trailers ........you get what you pay for
and Burley and Bob are the best !
D.TEK trailers hire both types Bob/Burley and sell new and used models
They advertise in the CTC mag Tel :- 01353 648177

    from here - http://forum.ctc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?t ... a6a2136a1b

sadly it seems they have no website, but do have email dtekhpvs@btconnect.com

    D-TEK HPV
    Main Street
    Little Thetford
    Camebridgeshire
    CB6 1BR
  • if you have any friends in Southville, Bristol they can borrow the bob trailer from the Southville Centre. Warning - when I last borrowed it, it was unusable because the bespoke quick-release skewer (which the trailer sits on) was missing.

I guess you've looked through all the previous topics to get everyone's opinions about trailers?
