Here is my trusty steed....the General Purpose Utility Bike! Can you guess what it used to be?
Does:
22 mile commute per work day (10 of which off road),
30-40 trail miles per nice weekend,
shopping!
Only bits I don't like:
Sh*t forks....might as well have been filled with cement at the factory,
Brakes awesome in the dry, woeful in the wet/mud.

What's with the stem? Looks like an RSJ :?
Other than that I quite like it actually. Wish I had a bike like that to commute on. I can either do a 2 mile commute on the road, or a 10 mile off-road "long way round" commute. That would be ideal.0 -

Close...It's a '05 Hardrock. Haha yeah I think the stem was cast in 1850 from pig iron, but it provides a nice platform for my comp0
