Picked up a very basic front light in Tesco this lunchtime for £1.25.

No use for lighting the way but not bad for a 'getting noticed' light. Inc batteries and a clip or band.

Fronts and rears at the same price.

The rear ones are superb, used mine for a whole winter of too/from MTB night rides never changed the battery and it never failed despite getting caked in mud/water for months on end.

Up to you - but compare the cheapy LED against the Smart Superflash LED.

The smart is about a tenner - and I'm quite happy to pay £20 for two of them to safeguard me thru the winter.

I may think about getting the tesco ones in addition, but I'm not one for saving pennies where my safety is concerned.

If you saw them you'd know they're no replacement for 'proper' lights. The fronts aren't even properly white, they're a yellow/green. But they'll add to your visibility for not much cash.
