Can you hire mtb lights anywhere?

Does anyone know of any companies that hire out mtb lights? Either internet based or in the Midlands? I'd love to go night riding a few times and see how good it is but struggle to justify spending over £100 when it would potentially be just a couple of times I use them this winter...

I've no issues with putting deposits down, etc. Just want to give the whole thing a try to check I like it first and, as none of my mates have them, I've none to borrow. It will also give me an idea of how much I need to spend to get a system that is suitable for my ability.

Thanks,

James

Personally, id look at either a magic shine or what i have the troutelight at the more extreme end, mine came to about £270 all in but it beats all lights i've seen.

Have a nose at my thread in this section, there's a p7 in there that uses the p7 emitter the magicshine does just for comparison sake.

Anyway lumicycle do hire them out and are good solid lights, but be warned it's very expensive, you can buy the magic shine for around £50-£60.

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

Surely if you buy online you are covered by distance selling regulations and can send them back if they ar enot what you want?
