New bike shed

I am so excited and had to share.

I am sitting looking out of my office window and some workmen are building our new lockable and covered bike shed as I write! It is basically a Meccano steel cage with an aluminium roof.

After much nagging and thankfully having a Dutch M.D.who understands the cycle commuting thing, it is finally here.

No more locking the bike to railings, worrying if it will be there when I go home. No more poor bike sitting in the rain. I can even keep guard by looking out the window. I may even bring the good bike in tomorrow to celebrate and before it gets put into hibernation.
