Hi all,
I have been mountain biking with some enthusiasm for the last few months and even went out and bought myself a lovely Boardman pro to spur me on!! extravegant I know but why not!
Since I have be cycling I find that when I go hill walking I have quite severe pains in the front of my thigh muscles when I walk down any significant drops, this usually tends to happen after I have put some effort into climbing berfore hand.
Does anybody know if this is normal, is it a muscle area that I can work on that the cycling doesn't address.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Russell

Are you doing recovery rides and streches
Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"
  • Hi robertpb,
Not sure that my work outs warrant any significant recovery rides but I am religious about stretching before and after every bike outing. I guess the sensible thing to do is to visit a local physio just to put my mind at rest...cheers
