Is it possible to have different icons/ colours for the various sub sections? For instance "Workshop" is generic, as is "Buying Advice" and "Route". Having at least htree icons ie MTB, Road, Commuting would simplify things when looking for new, relevant threads under the "search for new posts" function.

    why not use the search options?

    you can chose which bit you search in.

    I do indeed use the search options when looking for specific info. Quite often though I'm just killing time at work and use the "New posts since last visit" option. I thought having icons to identify which section each post belongs to might make the website a little more user friendly.

    well there is a "New posts since last visit" for each section so try that bit.
