stumpjumper HT comp or the top spec malt 4?

So i am about to purchase... have narrowed down my list to 2 bikes, i need some advice as i cant decide between the stumpjumper HT comp or the top spec malt 4..

I would appreciate a little help and some thoughts from those of you in the know..

I tried out the stumpy and like it, but cannot see where i could try the malt 4 as its mail order etc.. I love the style and have read the recent review in MBUK so it got on my list and it seems like a good deal, but as you imply i really need to ride it first. Cheers

is the malt 4 not a lot lower spec than the stumpjumper ??

I assumed he was using the custom option to put it alongside the Stumpy.

But as standard it is lower spec.

Will it?I thought the Malt 4 was a fairly high spec Kinesis built frame weighing around 3lbs.That and the fact you can spec it with fulll XT ,at a very reasonable would I`d have though made it competive in weight terms.
