Winter tyres / puncture protecion.....fact or fiction?

Any tyres out there stand out from the others folks??

    my michelin carbon krylions do even tho they are grey and black. You will find a load of people have a load of varying opinions on which tyres for winter are the best. i dont go out on icy roads nor on 3 feet of snow as it would get compacted and then become ice.

    stelvio plus or krylions for training. marathon plus for bombproof commuting.

    Does a monthly average temperature of 12.5 degrees in July (coldest month in Capetown) count as winter? :D:wink:

    Of course, I had to wear my Assos Airblock at least once this winter. :shock:

    I did get some use from my rain jacket and overshoes, but winters here's aren't quite on a par with my time in the UK. :roll:
