What type of bottom bracket would I have? Help please :)
Hi all,
Silly starter question really.
Below is the setup on my bike
Crank: Campagnolo Veloce CT Compact 50t-34t.
BB: Campagonlo Veloce.
Front Mech: Campagnolo Chorus CT with Campagnola hanger
Now this might sound silly - but if its all campagnolo can I assume its an Italian bb rather than british etc or could it be either?
If its both then how can I identify it?
I'm really just asking the question as I have no idea and want to be able to know what I'm running incase a special offer etc comes up and I buy any incompatible stuff.
Cheers,
Dru.

The frame is a racelight kinesis RC2
Does this mean that its an english BB? (as racelight doesn't sound italian)0 -
Almost certainly English.
Have a look at the driveside cup, if it is marked 1.370 x 24 it will be English (which has a left-hand thread on that cup), 36 x 24 will be Italian (RH thread on the drive side).0 -
Any doubts contact Kinesis directly - they were very efficient in answering any questions I had.
Kinesis website (RC2)0 -
Definitely British thread - you'll only find Italian threads on Italian framesMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
