    To save anyone the trouble of reading it, it's basically an enjoyably silly schoolboy rant from the good old internet school of debate:
    "helmets aren't necessarily a good idea because they make cycling look like a dangerous elite activity, so I'll bang on for a thousand words or so about how they are pure unadulterated evil & anyone who uses one should be shot"
    Frankly I've seen more useful posts about Lance Armstrong on this forum.

    What a load of b*llocks !!! It's actually a pointless article.
    Mr short is missing one key point which makes his entire post irrelevant;

    We all have the choice of how we cycle and what we wear.
    Science adjusts it’s beliefs based on what’s observed.
    Faith is the denial of observation so that Belief can be preserved
  • Hmm, I quite enjoyed it, thought it was quite amusing.

    Not to be taken too literally - the article, that is, and not that "I quite enjoyed it".

    +1 Although I will give him credit for at least trying to make another side to the issue.
    And I think it is important to question everything. And I am a big fan of "choice".
