Cateye Strada Wireless - Recording/stopping question

Hey :)

I recently bought one of these and it is my first cycling computer, as I'm only a newcomer. Anyway, when I stop at a traffic light or junction or something similar, I understand that the speed/distance recording is stopped? And when I start the wheels in motion again, the recording process resumes? Or is it more complicated than that, and is there a minimum speed that is required to set the computer recording again? For example, rolling at a roundabout for 2-3 mph waiting behind cars, would it be recording then?

Sorry if I'm not too clear, I'm finding it hard to phrase my questions.

Cheers

Joe

It stops when the sensor hasn't seen the magnet for a few seconds - it will still be recording as long as the front wheel is spinning.
    Faster than a tent.......

I guess you can turn the autostart on/off like you can on my Micro wireless. Should be in the manual somewhere.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Couple of seconds delay on stopping, starts recording as soon as the magnet passes the sensor again.

    2-3mph will be recorded.

It records my walk from the back gate to the road at 2mph for 12seconds in spd's!
