    some of us have to make do with an 04 Lx mech :o

    Thanks for all the positive comments guys, yeah Jairaj I'm interested to know how much it weighs aswell, but I was on it for about 23 miles today and it didn't feel like it was dragging me down.

    There are a few finishing touches I want on it next month, some are cosmetic;

    Easton ec90 monkeylite bars
    Red Hope QR skewers
    Some new m4 bolts for my stem cause they've rusted (how do I stop this! seems no matter how much I clean and dry them they still get rusty)

    A dab of grease on the bolt head keeps the rust away

    Can I just ask what size frame you have there as I'm trying to work out what mine will look like once its built up, it looks like a 17"?

    Also I take it that your forks are 140mm travel?

    Forks were originally 140mm travel but I fitted 10mm spacers to decrease it to 130mm as it suits the bikes geometry more.

    Frame size is a 16'' as it recommended I go smaller rather than larger (as 17'' would be my natural size) and it seems to fit spot on.
