A bit short notice, but I only just noticed, tonight at 21.45: Shay Elliot - Cycle of Betrayal A new documentary chronicling the life of Ireland’s pioneering professional cyclist, Shay Elliott, through triumph, controversy and ultimately tragedy.

Unfortunately I don't get that channel, but it sounds good.

"Always on for Sports video content is only available for customers who have one of the following eircom Broadband packages: Broadband Time, Broadband Home Starter, Broadband Home Plus, Broadband Home professional."

Ah well, maybe it'll turn up in some other places in a few days.

I recorded it but haven't watched it yet... Will let you know how good it was when I get around to it (hopefully tomorrow evening).

Psst, this is now on Demonoid if anyone wants to see it. I've just finished watching it and thought it was really good, very well made. Lots of archive footage and some nice interviews with Jean Bobet, André Darrigade, Rudi Altig, Brian Robinson, Raymond Poulidor... as well as Sean Kelly and William Fotheringham.

Really sad story, but definitely worth a watch.

I honestly hadn't heard of him before, but it sounds like a really sad story.
