New bars and stem

Fancied a 80mm stem rather than the 90mm I have already, and shorter bar than the 700mm wide boys that I am running.
So plumped for this:
80mm, 31.8, forged from 2014 alu, 130g TEN QUID! On the bay.
Complemented with 630mm scandium risers for 30 quid.

Tidy.
Might feel a bit more twitchy with the narrower bar but you will fit through those narrow tree encounters! LOL0 -
I find the 700mm give me a strange stance that casues instabilty - maybe I have narrow shoulders!0

That Exotic kit is tremendouse value!!!
So what are the bars you're getting then?0 -
These :

Not a bad weight for the money, and should be a bit stronger and durable than regular alloy.
Would have had the carbon, but only went upto 600mm.0 -
They are very nice, getting more and more exposure (Exotic)
I think it's great kit!!!
PS: I have nnnaaaaaaarrrrroooow bars on the Kona, gonna scare the shit out of me when it's built up!!!!0 -
How comes you didn't go for the Matrix carbon / alloy bar to match the seat post?0
-
Not wide enough really.0

I tried to drop a message down their forum (existing member) about a 600+ / 700 matrix version but their password login system borders insane / doesn't work even after contacting 'admin'.
I might find out one day0 -
Thanks supersonic, I liked the look of that so I have just brought the stem for my new build. Might get the bars to go with It as well. It's not a ornament, so ride It0
