Newcastle United fan here (take the mick if you like)

So sad to hear this news today :( RIP a true legend of football.

I think SJP will be covered with flowers, as well as Ipswich and West Brom.

:( Really sad news, he was a great manager and a thoroughly decent bloke with it.

I always remember him for describing Ronaldo (the brazilian one), on live TV, as looking like he could eat an apple through a tennis racket. Brilliant comment.

    RIP Bobby

What a shame. Spoke his mind and remained true to the sport.

    Top man.

Nice idea Gman, I shall indeed do that.

Sad to see him looking frail and ill last weekend, brought a tear to my eye, who'd have thought it would be his last goodbye.

Think I'll stop at my favourite place on the trail again (RIP Gatz) and raise my TDF bottle to him.

The word legend gets used far too much these days but that man exemplifies everything you need to be a legend.
A proper gentleman, successful, courageous and inspiational, truely exceptional.
He really will be sadly missed by many, many people.
