Which Disc brakes n Hubs

I am just getting back into MTBing after six year break, I have an old pair of wheels which have shimano LX hubs and Mavic D521s rims.
I would like some advice om which hubs and disc brakes to get. I have a budget of £200
The main use will be XC.
Regarding the wheels, would I be better off replacing the wheels altogether rather than just the hubs

Yes probably, otherwise you'll have to pay somebody to rebuild your wheels for you.
