It's 18 months away yet.. but gnawing at me with increasing vigour.

Christmas '10, I quite fancy taking a week and doing something proper. It will (probably) mean leaving the children at home and Mrs Si will come with me.

I'd like a go at climbing Kilimanjaro. Anyone done this? Recommend a tour operator?

Do the tour of Sardinia, it can be done as comprtitive or sportive, only a week long and you can take the family as you are done by 1-2pm each day.

you see I posted a 'Give me a challenge' topic in a cycling forum and everyone's coming up with cycling challenges. Should I be surprised? I don't think Mrs_Si's ever going to be up for more than a three mile dawdle to the local for a shandy, and that's summer months only. And not much of a challenge.

anyone been trekking in the Atlas mountains?
