I have purchased over several months so the cost has been spread out. I haven't yet added the full cost up - too frightened maybe!

An estimate at this stage would be around 2.5G.
RRP of this bike fully built would be way in excess of this and the full bike itself (as specced by specialized) has an RRP of around 4 Grand.
Arguably, the specially chosen components on my superbike builds into a better and lighter machine.

    Thanks for the comments folks.
Loghopper - hopefully it will feel even better out on the trails for the first time - provided I've set it up correctly. Fingers crossed!

Thanks Speed_King. Your comments are appreciated.

Very sorry to read about the loss of your beloved ride, you must be absolutely gutted - I know I would be, if it ever happened to me. :(

    Very nice ride!
Just curious, with what looks to be a no limitations build, how come you chose to spec a 140mm travel fork to the 150mm travel frame?

I wish it was 'a no limitations build' bluechair. The forks (& wheels & brakes) were taken from this:

The Pitch is now about 6 months old. A real gem of a ride and the back end sooooo plush, hence the decision to get real serious and go for the S-Works which I manged to pick up for 850 notes!.
The geometry is exactly the same on both bikes - so I knew the 140mm forks worked well when deciding to buy the Enduro frame. Besides, the difference is only 10mm, and when sag is taken into account, probably only about 5 or 6mm - hardly noticable (I'm sure a few of you might disagree).
I hope this satisfies your curiosity bluechair.

Thanks Whytepeak - If I could have all black I would, but at the moment needs must and I've gotta make do with the blue (and white) stuff. :)

The Pitch did look good lawman, but I have the anticipation of my first trail ride on the S-Works that over compensates bigtime for the loss of the pimping.

Me too liked the Pitch more.
The new frame doesn't match the white and blue components.

But hey, what ever feels better for you. :)

    Nice bike! VERY nice bike!

BUT... As someone has pointed out, how come the 140mm fork? Just because you had it 'spare' from your Pitch? As for the travel, do you not find it feels very fast-steering? With the sag, and the shorter axle--->crown height, and the short looking stem, is it not a bit too twitchy? (NOT having a 'go' at you [VERY nice ride!], just curious!)

You not considered an upgrade to a Fox 36 TALAS RLC? That's what I'd be putting on! Otherwise, REALLY nice, and REALLY jealous!

Now, go and thrash it around!

 What are you talking about? - White rims match the fox forks and the blue hope stuff matches the propedal knob on the RP23!!!!!!

Thanks biggy. I haven't ridden the bike yet so I can't really comment on the steering. At this stage I'd probably describe it as 'sharp' as opposed to 'twitchy'.
As for the forks, the Fox 36s would be nice sometime in the future, when funds allow, but I think I might struggle to come to terms with the extra weight.

Zaskar20......now you need to get that machine dirty, I know some nice wet local trails!
Thanks for the mention, it's a pleasure building a nice set of wheels, in the past Mrs Zog has laced a set for me...all correctly done, she just has to learn the fine art of trueing + tensioning them up.....
    BTW, nice looking bike :D
