Anyone else think they're ruining Llandegla forest by cutting down all the trees? I've also been told about a secret riding spot there..i've looked many times but can't see anything, anyone know where that is?

    It's a working forest, that's what happens.

Been a bit of a woody massacre at Gisburn recently too, but then we are benefitting from someone planting these forests 50 years ago so can't really complain. Can be quite atmospheric when the trail exits the tree and enters a battlefield and it's really openned up some cracking views at gisburn.

The downside in Llandegla, of course, is that the scenery is a bit crap without the trees.
