    I have a hybrid and a road bike, and I'm not kicking myself for getting the hybrid- gets ridden every day and I wouldn't be without it. Couldn't let the hybrid knocking go unanswered :)

    my beef with hybrids is not the bikes but the term which is meaningless really mind you one could argue that road bikes is worse in that it's a narrow meaning, the older being better, ie racer.

    but yes plenty of good hybrids around, they win TT for starters.
