cranks and bb

hi all, my left crank bolt worked loose, so i tightened it. But now i have noticed the chainring side is moving side to side slightly. Does this mean i need a new bb or can i rectify this with adjustment?.
my bikes a gt i-drive 5 and the cranks are truvativ blaze.

Do the cranks move together side to side, or just the drive side. Could well be knackered cranks.0

bb sounds shagged!
if you get your lbs to fit the new bb, get them to check the cranks for play.0 -

i think u can only use one type of bottom bracket that fits the blaze cranks. had them on my old bike and had to replace the bb fairly often with a power spline bottom bracket. Its fine for basic use really, but i found they bent fairly easily :? .0

Might be an idea to upgrade the cranks if you can afford it :twisted:0
