Ok, new to MTB, just rang Evans to order Spec RH Disc (£587) after seeing review in MBR, and have been asked if I want to upgrade to the Comp (£684) for better brakes, gears and wheels

As I say, very new to this, trail riding only, no downhill in my area, and I can afford it..

Question is should I upgrade or stick to the Spec RH Disc and learn to ride first

Any help or advice would be greatley appreciated

Well, as always if you go higher end when you buy the bike, it works out better value for money - upgrading the Dart 3 on the Disc would cost more than the difference ijn price between the two bikes for example.

If you've go the extra hundred then I'd say go for it. The Tora is a significant upgrade over the Dart 3 as a starting point.
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

If you can afford to spend the extra money then it wouldn't be wasted.

Both fab but I went with the Comp for the very reasons mentioned above.

One warning: You may spend more time staring at it that on the trails if you go for the Comp in silver.

    I love it :)
