Hubs with 40 holes ???
I'm probably going to splash out on a 40h Phil Wood touring hub, but before I do I just want to check whether there are any decent cheaper alternatives.
Can anyone provide links to a 40h hub with 130mm spacing that will take a Shimano 9-speed cassette apart from Phil Wood?

They're rare for singles, but quite common for tandems. The only modern one I know of available in 130mm OLN is the Phil one.0
