Garmin 705 Question on History
Hi all, just got a quick question on Garmin 705 and history...
Normally I setup a course and always follow that when i get home I download my data onto my mac / ascent.
The last two times I have not bothered with following a course because tue was a short know route and yesterday followed a club run, both times i pressed start at the beginning of the ride and stop at the end, the unit displayed the data for the ride on screen but when i went to download the data to my mac nothing showed up then when I look in history there is no data for yesterday's ride at all and for the mid week ride there is data but I cant get it into ascent ???
Any idea's where I am going wrong? not to bothered about getting the data back just dont want this to keep happening?

I think that after you press stop you then need to hold down the Reset button and wait for it to countdown from 3. Then you should be able to download the data ok.0

ah ok, funny how you dont have to do that when following a course, i am sure there is a technical reason.
I'll try doing this this week.
