Looking for a cotton head covering - but don't know what they are called. Pirate style with neck covering. You see a lot with the stars and stripes on them. Very light. I have one but it is a bit worn now.

Not for cycling (I use a helmet) but for indoor rowing as it is ideal to keep the sweat of my face and it does not keep me too warm.

Any links please

Cheers

John

    tbh if you are rowing indoors with no-one watching you why not use good old fashioned headband. The fact youll look like an 80s tennis star wont matter and it wil be cooler than a bandana. Cheaper too

    Go on e.bay and avoid paying the "Brand name surcharge" - I have been trawling through the headgear trying to find "one of those hats like the Chinese Revolutionary's used to wear" (Shop assistants actually understood...Jack Wolfskin Campanero a lovely one but being a tight northerner, I knew I could find cheaper! :lol: )

    Here in fact...my good deed for the day

    If you are unaware, if you link and find the "rainbow design" nice and colourful...there is a target audience, just in case you find them so comfortable you wear it outdoors. Stick to a nice neutral Navy/Black or White would be my suggestion...

    or be down with the kids and have a "flamed bandana"

    No, some lovely lady called Wendy Woo by the sound of it. Her own e.bay shop, I feel that I am nearly in the region of requiring commission for this... :lol:

    Thanks all, bandanas was the word I was looking for.;

    Ordered a Bianchi retro cap from Prendas for now. The campag bandanas were nice but not £17.99 nice
