hi just ordered my first bike , wanting to find some good routes to ride.

heard that Delamere forest nr warrington is good

any thoughts

    If your from Wigan then Rivington is on your doorstep almost. There are some nice loops you can ride and if you include a few runs down the Healey Nab downhill tracks it can be a right good day out. Plus the Great Barn does a cracking Bacon and Egg Barm and nice icecream which went down very nicely this morning thanks

    Have you got access to GPS or mapping software I have some routes mapped on Memory Map I could e-mail to you

    rivi pike is a must, its great having somewhere like this on your door step, i am still aiming to get to the top via the short technical rocky route without dabbing a foot down but the down hill blast towards the dog hotel is worth it once your lungs are back to normal
