just noticed the headset on my saracen enzyme sort of wants to stay central-and there is a notchy feeling either side of middle-it has a cartridge headset-are they adjustable or lubable-or easy enough to replace?

You may be able to take the seals of the cartridge and lube the bearings. But old saracen cartridge headsets weren't really cartridge bearings IIRC.
Open it up, have a look. If worn, needs replacing.0 -
