Just wondered what people fine ideal for glentress and other rocky trail parks. I'm running Nobby nic 2.25 and racing ralph 2.25 but read a few folk have ripped the sides out on rocks and don't fancy blowing 50 quid a pop on replacing them!!

i've been running these tyres above on trail centres like llandegla but running them on a mavic crossmax xl's they have been rolling around on the rims need some stiffer side walls for harder riding.

Gonna buy a set to ride there. Mountain king protection's??

cheers :P

GT red's not very rocky, parts of the climb are but the descents aren't. The black is rockier but still not a tyre destroyer. I'd just use whatever your preferred hardpack tyre is, really
