...too nice

Every now and then, I come onto this forum and spout nonsense, stir stuff up (eg foldies/SS/MTBs with no guards are totally evil) and generally behave like a silly man.

AND I'm a total fake cyclist, a plastic pedaller doing only 10 miles a day (and on 2 different bikes, over 4 journeys).

But, apart from one incident with a female regular on here (and the guy who threatened my kids following my anti-MTB-with-no-guards post), you've all always been truly nice and kind and simply not taken the bait.

That's why I keep coming back.

Anyway, where was I? Oh, yes, all roadies have small...

It's just a hill. Get over it.

Not telling. We crossed swords (spokes?) and it ended in me throwing yet another huff and exiting, stage left, for some months, no doubt accompanied by sighs of joyous relief from posters on here...

...and, in respect of your comments on roadies' small-ness, I've seen huge lycra-clad behemoths in fragrant Londontown, large enough even to make my well-fed frame look positively catwalk-ready...

I think I have the fundamental difference:

MTBers have enormous knobblies, whereas roadies have very small slicks.

A number of (brutally honest) answers:
    1. Possibly having a bad day when I wrote that
    2. I have a tendency to bouts of mild depression (see 1)
    3. My job separates me from wife & kids a lot, hence...lonely (see 1 & 2)
    4. I was listening to the New Order song of the same name (actually a Joy Division track, written by Ian Curtis, but it wasn't properly recorded or released prior to his suicide).

    Well, you did ask...
