Need to get one for my new rucksack as it came without. Have seen the 3 below all for a similar price. Is any better / worse than the others? Are there any other suggestions for a similar price / capacity?

Thanks

I have the Deuter one. Can't say that i've found the hose too short.

    I've got a Source Vagabond 3L. 8)
Claud Bulter Cape Wrath D27 (2009)
    Raleigh MaxLite FS1 (2001)
  • I have the deuter 3l bladder and found it to be great. having the sliding bit to seal the hydropac makes filling/cleaning/drying very easy. the tube is long aswell. i brought mine in febuary for about £15 from wiggle. depending on how much water you will need if its only another couple of £ I would get the 3l just incase you need the extra bit of water.

be careful of putting a 3l bladder in your backpack though. depending on the shape it can take up most of your pack space.

2l bladders tend to flatten out quite nicely though
  • well i brought a dhb rucksack which can accomodate the 3l bladder easily. but good point yoohoo999

    thats the bag i have

I have the Deuter one. The slidy top is nice and makes filling very easy compared to the old Camelbak screw-top-on-the-side style designs
Everything in moderation ... except beer
Beer in moderation ... is a waste of beer

If riding an XC race bike is like touching the trail,
then riding a rigid singlespeed is like licking it
... or being punched by it, depending on the day

Thanks for the replies. Will let you know how I get on with the Lezyne one. Has to be 2L as I need the rest of the pack space for food, spares etc.
