I personally do not like white bikes.

Also, I have a Specialized MTB which is lovely. It's brown.

Not that I am influenced by colours or anything!

I agree on the white thing, My first choice was the Orange 6300, I'm just not sure how much "wrong" attention Specialized draw.

    can you try them out?

I find that bikes are a very personal thing and you should know which one feels right when you get on them......

Yeah, From a ride POV both feel good, Just cant decide on what one.

I was also tempted by the GENESIS 09 CORE but at 6 foot 4" I wasn't sure that the biggest side of 20" would be big enough and they didnt have one to test.

Then colour and general look should be your guides....

I went for a brown MTB because I figured that would be the colour it would end up after a few trips in the woods anyway

Doesn't Orange let you choose the colour of your bike?

ADDS I should really be telling you to get a road bike. Or a fixie.

Always buy the white one. White bikes are better.

(I have 3 bikes, all white....)
Not climber, not sprinter, not rouleur
