Headshok service

Does anyone have a recommendation for a servicing company specialising in Headshok servicing? I can do the internals myself, but I need to replace the needle bearings and when I tried to do that myself a few years back it came apart easy enough, the reassembly otoh ... not so much!

I've seen eighty-aid who operate over here (Belgium) but they want 140 Euros for needle bearing replacement and it's a 10 year old bike so I'd sooner be a bit pikey about it.

Or; does anyone know wher I can get a guide to doing it myself and the bits (bearings and races)?

    I've used this outfit previously, they are (or were) Cannondale dealers. Don't know how much they'd charge but may be worth a call.

    Thanks for that Rob. I emailed them but they don't do the servicing themselves anymore, they send them off to cannondale, who shockingly enough cost about exactly the same as eighty-aid, which is too much on a 10 year old bike I fear.

    I did find an italian company who looks to be willing to sell components, just so long as I have the courage to do the fettling myself. They have a picture of the mysterious "special" tool on their site aswell, which appears to be not much more than a 4 way clamp to hold the races in place so I may give it a whirl. Worst case I either junk the fork or end up paying eighty-aid to put it back together for me.

    unless anyone else has any other options? I'm sure I found someone on the interwebs last year that services them in the UK and quoted 40-50 quid for bearing replacement. Buggered if I can find the site now, of course... :roll:
