Ticking noise when freewheeling
Hi, just assembled my new Ribble Sportive, Campag Centaur, goes beautifully & really quiet whn pedalling, but when I freewheel there is a real loud ticking noise, either from the freewheel or the wheel hub.
Is this normal for Campy or does something need adjusting ?
Upgraded from Shimano Sora so all new to me !

It's a safety feature.
When pedestrians walk out in front of you without looking, just stop pedalling and the ticking noise should alert them to your presence.
If that doesn't work, maybe because they are hard-of-hearing, try back-pedalling - that makes the noise even louder.
If that doesn't work either, maybe because they are deaf, try stopping, dismounting and running in front of them and waving your bike at them - that usually catches their attention.
If that doesn't work either, you probably have a deaf-blind pedestrian - just swerve round the back of them and continue on your way.
