I've found a good deal on a Muddyfox MIlano http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/ ... d-09-34648
However I'm concerned that the lowest gear will be too large. Does the Prowheel Chariot Crankset have removeable rings so that I can put a samller front ring on?

I have one of these chain sets and the BCD is 130mm (STD Shimmano) so the smallest inner ring you can fit on this would be a 38 tooth.0

The gearing I used with a 52/42 chain set was a 14/28 and I managed most hills ok. If the cassette is a Shimano eight speed you can get an 11/28 (Sun Race less than £20) cassette and this would make most hills manageable.0

So I could buy a 39/38 tooth Shimano ring and it would fit??0

Yes. The current inner ring on mine is a Stronglight Shimano pattern one.0
