Fitted the bottom bracket for my Aluminium frame tomy new carbon framed bike. Bottom bracket is a carbontec ceramic.

Now when standing on the pedals I get a creak. I can be seated and put a real load through and get no noise.

Stripped all back greased tightened all ok but still it is there. I removed the spacers I had as these weren't needed on the new bike.

Any ideas? It seems the carbon frame amplifys the sound

Grease / lube every mating surface. IME ceramic bearings are very 'noisy' so unless you lube them, you're going to hear them.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Just a thought, but are you sure it's the BB? I had the same circumstances/creaking which sounded like it came from the BB but it was cured by retightening the back wheel.

Aggieboy you were spot on it seems. Removed the rear wheel to put a new tyre on and after putting it back in and hey presto noise gone.
