Just wondering if it is as good as they say,as i'm going next week like, which bits really stand out, will be hitting the black.

    It's great but don't expect to ride McMoab without lots of dabs.

    Heartbreak hill is a "fun" climb but worth it for the singletrack that follows

    save your energy on the "out" lap till after Moab/Heartbreak Hill.

    Talnoutry has to be the best section of "man made" trail anywhere. The rest from there back to the Breakpad/cafe is just magic.

    Moab is fun and a must do on a first visit but thereafter most of us(near locals) miss it out in favour of saving energy for the blast back to the start.

    McMoab's the sort of place though that you could spend an afternoon or evening just sessioning it. It's close enough to the road that you could drive straight there and get on with it!

    Please forgive the daft question - but what's a dab ? i fancy going down thre one day to do a ride around.
