For home mechanic use most of the cycling web stores have their own brand of tools
that usually seem to do the trick at a reasonable price. Be sure to get the one made specifically for cutting cable AND housing(same tool).0 -
I've got a set of the Lifeline cutters from Wiggle and I'm pretty impressed. They cut both Campag and Shimano perfectly andthey only cost £120

I've got the older version of this Park Tools one - not cheap but I've had mine for over 15 years and it's still great.
The Pedro's one is cheaper but there tools are decent for the money IMO.I'm left handed, if that matters.0 -
Just found this one too which seems good value and has good reviews - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=10187
I have a pedal wrench from them and it seems well made - and very good value.I'm left handed, if that matters.0 -
