Help with price

Hiya

I need a bit of advice, I have an Orbea Marmaloda road bike (See spec below) its an excellent ride but I want to sell it and upgrade to a full carbon bike. Problem is I dont know how much it's worth. No LBS near me takes part exchange.

Bought in Sept 2008 for £850,

    I'd guess at approx 50%-60% of original price.
    Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

    I could have sold my Claude butler 10 times over on ebay - Put a reserve of £450 and see what happens. A bidding war could break out.

    If you insist they collect it will seriously restrict the number of bidders. Just say delivery at cost. Loads of bikes go mail order; it can't be that expensive. Make sure it's insured though

    I've sold two bikes on ebay, both of which I got 60% of the original cost. One was a 5 year old cannondale :shock:
    Both times I put collection or delivery at buyers arrangement. That way it's up to them to arrange a courier and the necessary insurance.
