Eastern parts of the UK could see up to 30 degrees! :shock:
Tomorrow will have temperatures up to 18 degrees, but with showers.
Friday is supposed to be completely dry, with temperatures up to 25.

Looks good, and probably more reliable than last week's forecast...
Forecast looked lousy for the northwest highlands for most of last saturday, but there was clearly better weather coming in later; the forecast consistently showed clear skies coming in at about 5pm. So we timed our departure for the Bealach for then, only to have cold, hard rain and a nasty headwind on the climb. Eventually the rain did clear and the sun came out - literally the minute after we arrived back at the car.0 -

A54 going towards Blaze Farm.
If you look at it on a map, you'd think an ESE wind would result in a headwind, but the odd geography of the hills creates a weird turbulence, causing a tailwind.
It also means that wind in virtually any other direction causes a headwind though. 0 -
ESE would = a tailwind, on the weather when it is ESE its coming from the ESE.0

Actually, I got to 52 today on the Cat & Fiddle - there's an amazing stretch which does allow it, but it's not where you would expect, because it's on the way up to the top, from the Macclesfield end. Most of the time, I would use that bit for recovery, before the next uphill bit came but I was taking it easy today so decided to let rip!0 -
