Hi

I have an FSA chainset and it is the Octalink type. Can I remove this system from the shell housing and fit a regular shimano BB with the cups? It is 68mm wide and looks to me like it would be fine.

Cheers guys

Would it also be a simple matter to change the chainset on a 09 GIANT TCR Adv1/2/3, are the pressfit bearings a proprietary installation or will a standard chainset fit. I was thinking about fitting a SRAM Force model??

    Cheers

Sram uses it's own proprietary GXP system...

it is a new "standard" as far as i am aware you will need to keep with the same fitting.
    Not seen and converters.
