Child seat to fit onto a 14" frame

Hello, My wife has a 14" Giant Sedona mountain bike. I would like to purchase a child seat. I have tried an Adventure CR2 and there wasn't enough clearance between the bottom of the child seat and the rear tyre. I have also sought information about the Avenir Snug child seat with rack and that will not fit onto the bike either. Please help. Regards Phil.
